P-E-A-C-E’22. Empower & Integrate for Social Inclusion and Peacebuilding

The initiative aims to empower European social enterprises and their support organizations, as well as civic society organisations through social economy strategies and tools aimed at fostering peaceful societies by improving intra- and inter-community dialogue, promoting social inclusion of forced migrants and refugees, and their integration into the job market. This initiative for dialogue is about building a co-creation and collaboration platform to foster Social Economy-based strategies and tools for peacebuilding and post-war recovery. P-E-A-C-E’22 dialogue is a side-event initiative for the 3 Seas Business Forum Vilnius 2024 devised in response to the call to become part of transformative dialogue under the Three Seas Business Forum in Vilnius and together “Innovate, Collaborate, Elevate”.

10.30 – Keynote speech “The role of social economy ecosystems in building more peaceful societies.” Mr. Gianluca Pastorelli, Executive President Diesis Network.
11.00 – Workshop “Co-Designing of Peaceful and Prosperous Futures”.
12:30 – Lunch break
13:00 – Plenary Discussion and Closing Remarks.
Context: P-E-A-C-E’22 project “Partnership for non-formal Education to Adults in pursuit of the peaceful Community Empowerment” (2023-2024) under the Erasmus+ program, implemented by the Lithuanian Social Business Association and Diesis Network in cooperation with partners, such as Social Economy Ukraine, Parliamentary Forum for Democracy, Young Leaders Forum. Invitees: social economy organizations (SEOs: associations, enterprises etc.), civil society organizations (CSOs: host/receiving community leaders, members etc.) and practitioners working on social inclusion and refugee and forced migrants’ integration into the job market.
